1/2″ AF4 4-Flute Aluminum Finisher

The AF4 and AF5 series finishers provide the highest quality surfaces finishes in aluminum that we have come across with any tool. They will both provide the same finish quality, just with a slight advantage in feed rate going to the AF5. If you have tighter geometries such as pockets with corner radii near the radius of the tool, the AF4 is your ticket. We’d still recommend that you’re able to “drive” the corner with the tool as these will tend to chirp a little bit more than a 2 or 3 flute in high engagement situations. We always have a 1/2″ AF4 loaded into the machine for general finishing operations.
