5/8″ AVEL3 Extended Reach Aluminum RampMill

The AV3 series of aluminum RampMills will seriously move some material. If you’re using new school high speed toolpaths, you owe it to yourselves to give these cutters a shot. These were the first SwiftCARB tool that we used, and were immediately impressed with material removable on a relatively low power machine (Haas VF2). With some power behind them, a 1/2″ AV3 will easily pull over 100 cubic inches a minute material removal. An added benefit is the compact chips from the chipbreaker geometry. It really helps if you don’t have a ton of chip storage.
